Computer Music Production
This website was set up in early 2009 due to the lack of useful, simple, and relevent information available for novice producers/musicians. When I started producing music using a computer, I was told by many that you would require a lot of musical skill which I posessed none of. Over time I learnt that being musical is not required. I cannot play an instrument, nor do I posess any musical theory. The truth is that nowadays, anybody can produce music - as long as you have a computer. If you are reading this, it is likely that your computer will be powerful enough for you to produce music in any style you wish.
Due to the nature of computer music, this guide will be targetted more towards dance music production than any other genre of music. However, many of the production techniques and information will be useful to anybody who wishes to compose music with a computer - regardless of musical taste.
